Workshops are under full steam, new camera working, new window 7 book for dummies who are over 50 is helping, Quilt show at Brighton looming and its all go here. One quilt is already bound and ready to show its my Pop Art Union Jack Quilt.............................Its bright, easy and fun. Only easy if you can cut and sew a straight line!!!!!!
Its great for kids or teenagers and for us aging hippies and our camper vans!
Whilst on that theme I made some bunting. I have signed up to help at the Olympics next year. I am taking two weeks off. I want to wave a flag wear a posh uniform and welcome dignitries or help in the changing room. Fingers crossed i get a great job, will let you know!!
Now my students have been busy finishing off quilts and bags for a wonderful Quilt show I am having in April on a small farm with animals, bluebell walks and open garden, just gorgeous (more news later), but to keep them on their toes and tame the faster quilters i have been dishing out redwork heart blocks. Only two or three students have managed to keep up with the weekly blocks but they are looking so wonderful i am going to have to do something special with the pattern. I am thinking of a nice B.O.M. Keep an eye on it , it is truly lovely. We have lots of colourways on the go , all on my linen/cotton mix, cream and pastichio, red on denim, white on cream, taupe on red and red on taupe. Have a look.
There are hearts, stars, doves, tape measures, all sorts. I am a little behind with mine so i had better go and join the family with some sewing!
that quilt is fantastic !

I have just got back from the Creative Stitches show in Brighton with my pattern for the Union Jack Quilt in hand - it was so busy there I didn't get the chance to say how fantastic it looks and I can't wait to have a go. Thank you.
