This evening I have had the tenth visit from a computer geek and finally after three weeks all is well with my new windows 7 pc. It had serious security issues which would not let me speak, see anyone or thing and affected my website, thats all history now but my feelings of frustrations have to be on the top of lists of most stressful things along with having a baby and moving house!!! oh yes!! We had a take away to celebrate.
Lots of exciting things have been happening as you know and i can now reveal that those strange paper mache shapes hanging over my aga several weeks ago
were actually............ a snowman Pinatta. How to make him will be revealed next week on Kirstie and Phils Perfect Christmas, Channel four 6th 7th 8th 9th Dec 8pm.
Dont blink or you might miss us. Apparently only our hands are going to show, my son Harvey was the helper. Harvey raffled the snowman for children in need and made £55.00!!!! I was also involved in the making of the Chilli wreath, Pearly heart decs, Wooden cotton reel table decorations, lip balm,( yes you did hear that right!) cards, glass charms, cocktail party, in fact i think i was the new Kirstie, did you know she is only a size 10/12. Thats why only my hands are to be seen.!!! I am a lucky girl with all this because Raise the Roof Productions , Phil and Kirstie's new tv company, have invited me to the launch to demo the crafts in Scotland, flying of course, ok its only Easy Jet! I do mix in high circles these days!!!! I have been busy making kits to go with the programme, mail me with your name and i will draw names out of hats at the end of next week.
My youger daughter and her boyfriend came down for the weekend and we visited the open houses in the beautiful village at Firle, its nestled at the foot of the downs .The Dutch House was a true delight with paintings, prints , quilts of course and jewelery. Visiting other artistic people and their homes is so
We had tea and cake in the pop up vintage shop in the village hall,( i want to live in a village hall.) My daughter found a beautiful silk 1970 s dress by a top designer,Vita von something, help,
so famous i have forgoten her name!!!
It was one of those perfect cold snowy wintery days, surround by loved ones, creativity, bargains, Roast lamb and garlic, Antiques road show and a nap in front of the fire with rosy cheeks. I just love winter.
